About the couple... Jack Harcourt Deveraux and Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux are fictional characters and a supercouple from the NBC daytime drama Days of our Lives, whose history spans from 1989 until 2006. The two have been portrayed by more than one actor/actress since their inception, but were originally, most recently and most famously portrayed by Matthew Ashford and Melissa Reeves. Fans have nicknamed the couple "J&J" or JnJ" (for Jack and Jennifer) on internet message boards. Jack and Jennifer are generally considered to be (as of yet) Days' last supercouple, and the only one who made their mark as a supercouple in the 1990s rather than the 1980s or 1970s. While there have been many popular couples after Jack and Jen, none are generally considered to have made it to supercouple status. |
